We are looking for a skilled Cardiac Anaesthetist to join our healthcare team in Ropar. This role is essential for ensuring patient safety and comfort during cardiac surgeries.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Patient Assessment:** Evaluate patients before surgery to identify any potential risks and determine the appropriate anaesthetic plan.
- **Anaesthesia Administration:** Administer anaesthesia to patients before and during cardiac procedures, ensuring adequate sedation and pain management.
- **Monitoring Procedures:** Continuously monitor patients’ vital signs, including heart rate, blood pressure, and oxygen levels, to track their condition throughout the surgery.
- **Emergency Response:** Be prepared to manage emergencies, such as cardiac arrests or severe reactions to anaesthesia, ensuring quick and effective responses to protect patient safety.
- **Postoperative Care:** Oversee patients in the recovery room after surgery to monitor their recovery and address any complications that may arise.
**Required Skills and Expectations:**
- Candidates should hold a DM/Doctorate of Medicine, with a focus on anaesthesia, preferably with a specialization in cardiac anaesthesia.
- Excellent communication skills are essential for effectively interacting with patients, surgeons, and other medical staff.
- Strong problem-solving abilities are needed to quickly assess situations and make informed decisions during surgeries.
- A commitment to continuous learning is expected to stay updated on the latest anaesthesia techniques and technologies.
